The move for the Orkney Islands Council sponsored freight transit and warehousing operation sees Streamline renew its occupancy of the J&W Tait owned yard and store for the duration of the North Isles contract. Streamline Transport Director Douglas Gray said, "the dedicated facility for the North Isles service provides a better solution for customers, suppliers and hauliers alike.

The store and yard offer the space to operate the service safely and efficiently, and the facilities for staff and service users are good. We feel sure the relocation will be appreciated by the users and are grateful that Orkney Islands Council has been supportive of the change."

The North Isles depot will continue to operate from 0800-1700 Monday-Friday and from 0900-1300 Saturdays.
