  • Updating our Terms and Conditions - RHA and BIFA

Streamline Shipping Group is pleased to announce that we have updated our trading terms and conditions to align with industry standards. Effective immediately, our company has adopted the standardised terms and conditions set forth by the Road Haulage Association (RHA) for UK domestic work, and the British International Freight Association (BIFA) for international and customs clearance work.

A Commitment to Compliance and Excellence

At Streamline Shipping Group, we strive to provide the highest level of service to our customers while maintaining a strong commitment to compliance with industry regulations. This change is an important step towards ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of industry best practices and continues to offer customers the most efficient and reliable shipping services possible.

What This Means for Our Customers

By adopting the RHA and BIFA terms and conditions, Streamline Shipping Group is aligning itself with the industry's most respected and trusted organisations. This change ensures that our customers can have confidence in the work we undertake, knowing that it is being carried out according to industry-standard guidelines and regulations. Plant and crane hire will still continue to be covered by CPA model hire conditions.

RHA Terms and Conditions for UK Domestic Work

The RHA terms and conditions provide a comprehensive framework for the provision of road haulage services within the UK. They set out the contractual obligations and responsibilities of both the haulier and the customer, covering aspects such as loading and unloading, transit times, and claims for loss or damage.

BIFA Terms and Conditions for International and Customs Clearance Work

The BIFA terms and conditions cover a wide range of services related to international freight forwarding and customs clearance work. They establish a clear set of guidelines for both the freight forwarder and the customer, addressing issues such as liability, insurance, and the handling of claims.

Immediate Implementation

The new RHA and BIFA terms and conditions apply immediately to work undertaken by Streamline Shipping Group. For existing customers, this change should be seamless, as our commitment to providing the best possible service remains unchanged. We encourage all customers to familiarise themselves with the new terms and conditions, which can be found on the RHA and BIFA websites – or on our own website at www.streamlinegroup.co.uk/about/terms-and-conditions

Questions or Concerns

We understand that our customers may have questions or concerns about this change, and we are here to help. If you have any questions about the new terms and conditions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team, who will be more than happy to provide you with the necessary information and support.

You can contact our customer service team with any queries relating to our terms and conditions by emailing info@streamlinegroup.co.uk or by speaking with your usual contacts within the business.

We believe that this change in our trading terms and conditions will provide a solid foundation for continued growth and success, both for Streamline Shipping Group and our valued customers. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to working with you under these new terms and conditions.
