Saving time, money and stress – discover what founder of Etive Watches, Daniel Bryan, took away from his Streamline experience.

When Etive Watches was dreamt up in lockdown, the company was founded with the goal to create a stylish and affordable brand of watches for every occasion.

To maintain this affordability, the company needed to source a factory to bring Daniel’s designs to life, manage quality control and ship them within its budget – all without compromising on the quality product… Enter Streamline Shipping Group!

Working our Streamline Magic

Daniel was referred to Streamline and noticed that both companies had high standards, valuing excellence and innovation. This value-match, along with Streamline’s reputation and ability to source and deliver Etive Watches’ products, encouraged Daniel to reach out. With a clear idea of what he was looking for, he approached Andy Bryan, Streamline’s business development manager.

Daniel stated: “Working and communicating with two separate companies would have been challenging, so finding a company that could package sourcing and shipping into one was hugely beneficial.”

Andy understood Daniel’s vision and, using his years of experience and network of connections, sourced a factory in Asia that had the price point and quality Etive Watches was looking for, and was ethically sound. The factory signed off on product designs and agreed with the estimated costs required to bring the project to life, allowing Daniel to create a solid financial plan.

Working with factories overseas can be complicated, however with experience liaising with companies across the globe, our team is specialised in ensuring all operations and paperwork are completed correctly and in line with the law.

Ahead of Time for Etive Watches

Always trusted to get the job done and deliver on our promises, this time was no exception when, less than half a year later, the products were ready to be shipped from Asia to Scotland – at a lower price and quicker than initially planned!

Daniel said: “Thanks to Streamline’s logistics expertise, they recognised the potential delays involved in delivering watches containing lithium batteries and so found an alternative route than initially planned, saving us time and money!

Working with Andy was a breeze. From the initial meeting to the delivery of the products he was always on hand to deal with any queries and put my mind to rest.

“His ability to take the designs I wanted and bring them to life through his chosen factory has reassured me that Streamline is the best sourcing agent to use. He was able to independently deal with the factories and arrange the shipping, only involving me for critical decisions or for updates which was perfect.”
